Simple Market is an e-commerce company founded by sisters Ella and Kaelyn Soon-Shiong, who have found it perpetually difficult to find treats that would fit their severe dietary restrictions.

The Soon-Shiong sisters have always believed that food should be something that fuels your body and soul while tasting good. When they found out about their sensitivities and allergies––Kaelyn has a sensitivity to dairy and gluten, while Ella is allergic to nuts––they wanted to tweak their favourite family recipes and make them into versions they could actually eat.

After much success in transforming their family's famous banana bread into a gluten and nut free indulgence, they created Simple Market as a way to provide everyone a chance to still enjoy their favourite foods, no matter what they can, or can't eat.

All of their products are vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, refined sugar-free and are made only with nutritious ingredients (that you can actually pronounce). They are currently offering a broad selection of home-baked goodies but the stand-outs are the lemon berry muffins, the chocolate brownies and of course, the banana bread.

The sisters have even been formulating their own Superfood Strawberry Jam, made only with fresh strawberries, chia seeds, maple syrup, and a squeeze of lemon. Also on their menu is the Superfood Mushroom Broth by Ripe Nutrition, which is 100 per cent organic and made in small batches with locally-sourced ingredients.

Ella and Kaelyn continue to experiment with new recipes and have just released their limited edition Pride Cookies that resemble the taste of snicker-doodles, with all proceeds being donated to The 519.
