Florida Georgia Line singer Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, are parents of three young children, Olivia Rosa, Luca Reed, and Atlas Roy. Now, the couple together since 2013 and wed in 2015, are opening up about the importance of having a good sex life as it relates to their parental duties.

Speaking on Hayley's podcast Meaning Full Living the couple discussed intimacy as being a large part of keeping a strong marriage, "and you know, a strong marriage leads to strong parenting," says Tyler. "It’s important."

Getting intimate with each other can sometimes simply mean being in each other's company and just cuddling up, the couple says.

“I remember some nights we didn’t have sex, we were like, ‘No, let’s just lay here and watch a movie,’ and just hold hands or kind of hold each other,” Hubbard admits. “We’ve been pretty intentional about it.”

Hayley agrees about sex being a "huge part" of their relationship, and it being something they need to keep working towards finding time for. "I think that’s something to talk about with parents because it’s hard," Hayley admits. "You’re emotionally exhausted in those early phases of parenting. You’re physically exhausted and all of those things and sex is kind of the last thing you want to make time for. But it is important."

Following the arrival of their third child in October of last year, Tyler announced that he had a vasectomy. “We're beyond grateful for our three babies and feel confident that we're done having children of our own,” the Hubbards explained. "We've always felt that we would like to adopt one day, if the Lord opens that door and the timing is right, but for now our hands are full and we are so thankful."
